You know that feeling you get when you see a mirror, that it just might be a one-way-mirror? Especially in public restrooms, and other public places.
I would always treat them like they were one-way-mirror, without showing that I was aware of it. Would wash my hands like I was being watched, and also make a silly face to the mirror, to convince the people watching that I was unaware of them.
— This kid is making a silly face. He has no idea we can see him, haha.
— Did he wash his hands properly though?
— Yes. And he has not touched his pockets or given any indication that he is hiding anything. He's not our guy.
— We'll let him live for now then.
Of cource, deep down I knew the mirrors probably weren't one-way-mirrors.
Things have changed alot since then; now we are being watched.
No longer limited to mirrors; they can see us everywhere.
They don't just see us; they read our minds.
Pretending takes tremendous effort; but it's mostly in vain. They know.
